    WOW!

How many people do they have working at this place? Looks like they have a lot of projects in the works.

    Thanks... great projects.

Any chance you have some photos of that Chopped sand colored 35-36 Ford 5-window coupe with the wonderful patina parked outside?

We are down to four guys out on the floor, the shop is full of projectd but a lotof then are in for little short repairs or partial builds not as many turnkey cars as there used to be, always looking for some more projects to bring into the shop and then hopefully we can add a two more guys to the crew. the crew we have now has been with us for at least five years most of us have been with the shop for the past ten.

The 36 is Ed Pinks old car Its waiting its turn in the shop, Still working on tracking down some vintage photos and more history on it.

very nice place you have there.

those bodys outside would be stolen for scrap within a week here in sunny California. they steal the phone lines right off the pole around here.

Thanks.. I had hoped it was an old custom... but this is nice as well. I really like the chop on this one.
The only photo I have of it is from the Barris Techniques #4 book. Same as the one you showed... but most likely printed a bit larger.

If you click the image below you will get a large scan I made of it.

we have the Fawcett book but the article has such bad water damage that we don't dare turn the pages. Those scans are great. looking forward to getting started on the car real soon.

Our open house went pretty well this was only the second time we have had one next year we will improve upon it. we enjoy displaying some of the great projects that we get to work on, and I got a small sheet metal job of working out some Willy's Jeep rear quarters so it helps the shop out too.

Here are few more pics of the black five window, we have gone in and put carpet on the floor and some door cards on since these shots were taken, the Olds engine is pretty cool still has a factory smog pump on the top right out of the crate. I have been lucky enough to drive this car some and i have to say it is just plain fun.
