What type of line to use to connect a wilwood cylinder to a Howe hydulic throwout bearing all the flexible lines say do not use with brake fluid. Are you suppose to run a hard line for this? Thanks

Just about every brake system I`ve ever worked on has flexible rubber coated lines to the front wheels otherwise ya coulden`t turn the wheels.you should be able to buy this type hose by the foot at any good part store or check online. Hope I`ve been helpfull.

  4. I agree with Kenneth S regarding the SS brake lines, however, you will need -4 SS brake lines and AN-4 fittings. I've used this setup several times on road-racing cars that I've built.

  5. I think those rubber hoses are all pre-made... Not exactly the kind of thing you're gonna put together with hose clamps!

X2 on the stainless flex hose between the frame and bellhousing. You want nylon (or teflon) hose, not rubber. It's fine with brake fluid. I'd use #4 for the clutch for a little faster return speed.

I used a -3 with a line lock to hold the clutch in my 66 Mustang, when you let go of the switch the clutch returns plenty fast when the engine is turning 8000 rpm's. :D
