Well, they are both cool, but, I don't like the headlights leaning back like that. But, otherwise, nice.
The headlights are vw they arent actually leaning back they have a glass over them the headlights are actually straight.
Ok, but, I still don't like 'em. The VW lights look good on VW's, but, I think that car would look better with some '56 Olds lights grafted in. You know, something with a peek on the top. Or, maybe Jag lights of the same style. I think mid '70s Jags had them like that. It is nice and low though. That make's it cool.
Everybody's got C10s. I like the oddballs. Now, a new name for the car or perhaps a new profession? I LIKE IT!!!
1 low 69 The headlights are cool, you know it! They just don't understand old air coolers... Newer Porsche tilt back lights are also used on a few cars I have seen, very different De Soto, like it a lot.. Keep it coming...
I like the DeSoto ... headlights and all. It's a '51 or '52, isn't it? So is it six or eight cylinder?
I like it........................It would look better, with two new front fenders, and some stock style headlights.................
I just sold a laid out Chevy truck just like that in December. I miss it. The Desoto is cool minus the headlights. Definitely a neo-traditional ride, but pretty cool nonetheless. Solid trade
I actually like the headlights. I think its called Mary Kay because I think that is the color on the roof I think it is the actual pink they use on the Mary Kay Cadilacs
I dig it, headlights and all. Nice combo. Any lower and you'd need a periscope to drive it. Have fun with it. Bob
What I think is for various and different reasons both vehicles discussed in this thread are not germane to a website devoted to traditional rods and customs. Rocker panels dragging the ground and/or the crude application of inappropriate late model headlights do not a traditional custom make, nor do fuzzy dice and utility truck spotlights on a truck five years too new to make the year cutoff.
