most definatly a good score! ,but i think i would re think building it back as a roadster , i would either try to make a coupe out of it again ... or maybe it would be better to part out that body ,two or three coupes could be brought back from an organ donor like that , with the money from the pieces you might be most the way there to a new b-ville body or at least one in pieces!

This one is for sale. Too bad you couldn't buy it and just swap the roof.

havent you guys already been through this ...........

Back to the post. Looks solid in places. Its a 32 so will likely be worth more to someone else than you as you didnt seem too commited to it. Extra $ in your pocket perhaps.

Great score, man - I've got this exact car, my avatar, and it's nearly done - was a 5-window, lost it's roof and had a f-gl*** lift-off made for it.

Thanks for the inspiration. I want to build it, but it is a long way from being nice. I see your car and I think if you can do it, so can I. :)

I gotta say, the quarters are cut a bit more than I'd do it...but its still a REALLY good looking car that should have people scratching their heads.
With the roof on you NAILED the proportions!

I like that a lot...and its different, which isn't too easy to get with a Deuce!

So you left the front of the door to guide the gl***. (And support the hinge of course...) Does the gl*** stay tight when its all the way up and work well with the rear channel cut down?
How did you seal the gl*** to the roof of does it just float?

    Cool job!

  28. Even if you just hung the body on the wall it would be bad *** KOOL!
    Great Score....Congrats!

When I first looked at it, I thought it was a Model "A", but it looks like it started life as a coupe. Have you determined what was done way back when?
