  1. He has never claimed them to be "his" Go after the ones that posted them on Facebook, they are the ones that made them Public Domain, your mistake was not marking them.

So quit bellyaching because even if they are yours no one knows which ones are or aren't when they pick them up off Facebook. Grow up and stop crying.

You would think you would want to share what you have collected with others of like minded people before you left this world but no, you would rather toss them in a lake and die an old unhappy man. You must be one miserable human being to not want to share something you obviously loved with others who share the same obsession.

I thank God my life is nothing like yours nor is my sons.

    Repeat after me:

Do not post things on the internet ANYWHERE if you are not OK with them showing up someplace else without your consent.

Like seeing Janet Reno nekkid, some things cannot be undone.

You let the genie out the bottle (without a water mark of any kind). Once it's out in public, there is no getting it back or controlling where or when it shows up.

    That's just how it is.

BTW, if you don't like people seeing your photos without your consent, you'll die when you see what Google and Bing do with their caches. Collected, agglomerated, and indexed for super fast regurgitation when someone asks to see something like it. Once Google/Bing have seen it and cached it, it never leaves their servers.

    EDIT:

HA! I got on a Google rant and forgot to post the pictures that were emailed to me.

    Sometimes my stupidity overwhelms me.

At any rate, here are the pics in no particular order:

Bullfather page 50 post 996 " Cali.style Ts no rolls?!? " The picture I have from 1947 says the following C R A ( California roadster association ) driver Colby Scrogins no. 88 flips-- Bill Steves no. 100 tries desperately to avoid crash . The CRA has had some real famous drivers . A lot of them went to Indy and a bunch went on to win ! Out here a modified was a sprint car with a roll bar or with roll bar and a wing ! Just some FYI . This thread is the XXXX ! well you now what I mean. thanks DWW56

With 3 jobs and 3 kids, the wee hours are the only ones I get to myself. Sometimes I scan the scrapbook pages at night and crop the pictures on my lunch hour if I take lunch. I've been lobbying for a 30 hour day so I can get a few extra hours sleep. 'Till then I'll get by on 4.

Someone said they wanted some Gary Balough/Kenny Weld "Batmobile" pictures. I see some posted. I believe the person wanted the back of the car. I found two, but they are black and white.

From experience I can say "Never say never" 'cause things certainly do change.

As I said in an earlier post it's a shame you'd go and destroy your work rather than share.

I know you've been around this sport for a long time as I've seen your credit lines in many places over the years. You've done some really nice work.......and now, life moves on.

One request; You've made your point many times over. How about we give it a rest OK?

The restored Jarzombek Chevette will NOT be ready for either the Jarzombek, Evans, Baldwin Memorial Race at the Riverhead (NY) Raceway next month, nor for the Historical Hallockville Farm Show in Mattituck (NY) a week later. The project was unexpectedly delayed when .. in a non racing related mishap .. Harold Seaman accidently had part of one of his fingers chopped off (it was reattached). The long healing process, plus personal business that required his attention temporarily put the project on hold. It WILL be ready for next years events.

However there has been another restored Jarzombek modified added to the fleet. Ricky Jarzombek has just completed the restoration of the Vega that is similar to & just preceeded the Chevette. It is the third car that was initially bodied as a Vega and the first of the ones built with a Jarzombek family designed tube frame. It's the car that Charlie won many features with (especially at Freeport [NY]) and the same car that Peggy Smith later campaigned. That car should be at both Riverhead & Hallockville next month.

That makes four restored Jarzombek racers, at this point. 1- The Bug (Ricky J.), 2 - the Offset Coupe (Harold S.), 3 - the second of the two Scout chassis Vegas (it is in the Talledaga Museum) and 4 - now the one above.

Two more are still in the works. The Chevette (Harold S.) and the last car built by the Jarzombek family .. a Cavalier (Ricky J.).

I'm told that the Ernie Wilsburg car that Charlie so successfully campaigned and is now beautifully restored and owned by Eddie Partridge ("Cecil Palmtree" .. LOL) now has a working engine. That car should be at the above events too.

Brian, I was just trying to show how much of a liar and thief "BULL@^**ER is, with his "I got them on Facebook, and no credit was given...public domain nonsense".

I know it is a long address, but if you follow this link, you will see that I WILLINGLY sent images (many BULL!@#$% has posted in the past with no credit) years ago to Jeff Ackerman at the Mid State Antique Stock Car Club, which he not only gave me full credit, but thanked me for doing so. (You might just see some "fresh" BUL!@#$$%^ nostalgia posted there !!!!)

    http://midstateantiquestockcarclub.com/langhorne_speedway_hedstrom_photos.html

If all his followers want to keep slapping him on his back, lauding him for being "King of Nostalgia", which I guess he needs for an ego boost, go right ahead.

I have made arrangements for all my Sprint stuff to go to the EMMR at Latimore Valley, but have instructed my wife to salt a garbage can with all my Modified work.

You won't hear from me again, just enjoy my photos that are posted here....LOL

Oh, I just read the best news (yipee!) that made my day from JHed82:

"You won't hear from me again, just enjoy my photos that are posted here..."

As I said before, we won't be missing you, and given the various hissy fits you've pitched over the months, I personally would NEVER buy any of your work....no matter how good it is. So feel free to heap on the garbage / dump the pics in the lake / whatever....there's a lot better work than yours out there anyway...azzhat!

  18. Don't worry George has connections to Lake Maede lol

Hey in truth Shamrock they are some nice shots! :O)

Let's face it! When you put anything on the web it's up for grabs! When I posted my videos on YouTube I did for all to see and enjoy! I've seen them pop up on numerous websites and I think that's great. In fact I encourage it. If Jack didn't want his photos to be "pirated", he should have put his name on them. Then he would get full credit and his ego would be satisfied! And if he dumps his pictures in my lake. I'll retrieve them in a heartbeat. He does have a great collection and I've enjoyed seeing them. So keep up the good work, Pete. You're a great "Pirate"!
