Hey everybody! I'm so thankful I found the HAMB, and so many nice people who have encouraged m e to get Hot Rod published. It looks like JUNE! And the best news is that they are using my design for the cover. At least that is good news to me. I hope you will like it. Yeah, I read them all as a kid,then gathered them all back up about 10 yeatrs ago. Time for a Re-read. i'll be looking for a copy went their back out.
Had to go check my bookshelf. I have paperbacks of Hot Rod and Street Rod plus a hard copy of Street Rod that my ol' buddy Normspeed gave me. I'm guessing the hard copy is first addition 1953 cause someone penciled in the date 7/21/54 in it. Appears to have been a library book, there's a small corner of the library sign out card still in it. Neat stuff. Lee
It is hard for me to believe how many people still have copies of his books! I'm very touched, and hope the new edition will be one that he would be pleased with! Thanks for letting me know!
