I am wanting to do some bomber style seats out of copper with rivets. Anyone doing them? I am doing a copper themed rod, copper dash, seats, rear end cover, cowl vent, etc. Anyone got any more copper ideas.

hey hey , thats a great idea, copper is phase conjugate and youll get more energy sitting in em , aluminum is the worst material to be surrounded by, did you know that seeds will not germinate next to aluminum. let me know what you use and keep me posted, i want to build a set myself, Mac , heres a pic of my ride

Might want to consider copper plating instead.

Make your seats out of steel or aluminum and a plater like myself would be happy to put a nice layer of copper on the seats or whatever knicknacks you make. Pure copper is very soft, but will work on some things. I have seen sirens on very old fire egines made of nickel plated copper.

Josh, if I send you a pair of aluminum riveted bomber seats, what will copper plating cost.

First, I'll need to know if they will fit in my tanks. Some dimensions and pics will answer that, and also if you need them polished. A plate-only will be a lot less $ than if you want everything mirrior-shiny when you get it back.
