the truck that the guy called about yesterday its '53 and '54 F100 parts which will make one truck. what rocks is its maybe 20 minutes from where i live. note that the hoods and stuff thats on the front of the frame is just free stuff, thats not the good parts id be using. the rear fenders and running boards were dipped and primed, the cab is in great shape, its been stored in that sheid, the doors are in great condition.. all the other metal pieces that look like **** thats just all extras id be getting. the frame is solid, just has all that surface rust... the good hood is at his shop at his house.. which i saw his '54 truck and it was awesome. theres like 2-3 extra hoods id be getting, one which is welded together with some front fenders to make a flip hood. and just a bunch of extra pieces.
Looks like some "good" junk. You have your work cut out for you; about a three year project I think. Don't give up. pigpen
What's a fair condition '53 F100 possible running go for.... alot of surface rust... my boss has it for sale.... wondering if I should snag it
alot of the stuff i was telling him with what i wanted to do with it he was like he was pretty suprise a chick knew so much..
