Is the right outer end replaceable? I was at Little Dearborn yesterday and they said it was replaceable. It looks to me like the left side end is replaceable and the right side is not. Anyone offer help? thanks

Ok, I downloaded the Ford 28-48 ch***is parts catalog. I discovered that the drag link was on backwards on my car. Now I'm scratching my head because I tried to put it on the right way and couldn't get it on. The tie rod end that is serviced separate from the drag link clearly is shown on the outside right spindle. It was on the pitman arm on my car. Anyone ever seen it installed backwards? thanks Don

Yes, frequently, If the drag link is installed correctly I have seen the pinch clamps on the adjustable ends hit and cause interference with the same clamps on the tie rod when the wheels are turned max. left. I have wondered if this is one of the reasons you find the drag links bowed in some cases.

I am leaning towards it being the wrong drag link. In looking more at the Ford parts catalog it looks like a drag link for a 41-47 commercial. I,ll know tomorrow when I get a replacement in hand. Thanks Don
