The Tin Butchers would like to thank everyone who came out to our 4th show/swap. Altho it did rain for awhile (about 45 minutes mid morning) we had a pretty good turnout of vendors and cars; about the same number of cars but swap was a bit bigger than last year I think. ...we hope the vendors did well and everyone had a good time; we appreciate your support; plans are underway for next year's show. THANKS AGAIN!
It`s too bad half the vendors left when it started to rain. I stayed and it got quite warm, also sold a few items
...yup, right after the rain a big surge of spectators came thru the gates, I'm sure some of the vendors lost some sales by leavin early.
Thank you to you guys for putting the show on!!! I think I have been coming since the first and only missed one. My father and I came down last year for the monsoon, had a great time and we did again this year as well. It is a great chance to meet people and catch up with old friends. I was walking with my nose down looking for parts but a couple of old friends caught us to say Howdy! We are hoping to make it next year in the truck that he and my uncle started in '74 and I am finishing now.
Yea I would have bought a set of rims but the guy packed up after it jus started raining. I mean come on it was about 10:30 and he left. Oh well his lost. I did manage to get a few good deals on parts after lunch. Glad those vendors stuck around. I think I seen you guys leaving in the coupe. Glad to see it out and on the road.
Had a good time at your event. It really started to pick up after the rain subsided on Saturday. Hope you guys can make it to our first event in August!
...does anyone know the vendor who had a Shelby intake with 4 Weber carbs for sale?...got a guy tryin to track him down. The vendor also had a visible V8 model engine for sale and a bunch of old coolers; can anyone help?
