LA Roadster show next weekend

i am leaving tomorrow to drive out there. i will only be there on sunday though, have to spend the second half of the week at the California motor speedway for a race

 

I'll be there sat walking the swap meet would take my car but blew a head gasket on the way to antiuqe nats last sunday.

 

be there on Thursday,anyone need a place to crash?Ive got a room at the Sheraton Thurs through Saturday but its just my brother in law and I.Trying to find someone to help offset the cost of the room some.

I've missed one in the last twenty years... I don't think I'll miss this one! I won't be in the Plymouth this year though, not sure who I'm riding with yet - nothing like having a plan in place!

LARS: many kustoms??? or is it all rods??? I'm interested in going but my interest is only in kustoms. I appreciate a good rod (or even a not-so-good one) but my heart is only with kustoms. Should I go???

 

I fly in Thursday and out Monday! It's my first time at the LARS!!!

 

Any info on So Cal Speedshop Open House? I havn't been in a few years (What Time) and I believer that Walden has an Open House too?

Leaving early Monday am for San Dimas Motel 6, have to make the rounds of the Early Ford Store, Kennedy Bros.,SoCal and Orange Co pals. Will have a lot of S-W gauges (early), 32 heavy axle, 112 Appleton NOS C.1942 in original box, Pair of Lyons
35 Ford 16" Wheell covers. and lots of neatoldstuff. Look for me somewhere near the shade trees. Terry

A year ago today I was driving the flathead '32 roadster the long road from Denver, CO to Las Vegas on my way to the Roadster Show. I remembered that for some reason as I laid in bed half awake half still asleep this morning. I have sooo many good memories of the trip and the show. I hope you all have a great time this year and I'll see you there for the 50th, if not before!

 

H&H Flatheads will be there in the swap meet section near the train

 

this will be the first year back since my dad passed so it will be nice to get the tradition going again

Look for the DEUCE OF SPADES booth in the vendor area, BOOTH G-1 (that's down the main aisle, corner booth)

We'll be doing giveaways every hour on the hour first one will be at at 10AM and last one will be at 3PM - both days!!

Raffle tickets are free and will be handed out, or you can come by the booth to pick one up. And you'll have 14 chances at winning something!

I'll be giving away one item each hour, including several DVDs of the film, as well as several gorgeous TOM FRITZ "DEUCE OF SPADES" posters (see below!), and some other cool artwork and merchandizing.
