Event Coverage Jim Stevens Flathead goes 238 mph!

Jimmy Stevens' Turbocharged flathead powered Jack Costella's Streamliner to 238 mph at El Mirage today (June 13) to reset their XF/BFS record, as always Rick Yacoucci adeptly handled the controls. The alcohol fuelled Costella, Yacoucci, Pappas & Stevens Streamliner was first out on the dirt and Kicked the day off with a bang!

Hey Grant, They made the first p*** of the meet. That was all they needed, the motor seems to be fine. They will be back at El Mirage next month for one final tune-up prior to Speedweek.
