hi i am nick from michigan , too many projects not enough money or time , but i keep workin on them anyway.
no pics yet i'm working on borrowing a digital camera to take some pics of my ratty but low miler 55 caddy fleetwood 4 door, i race cars at berlin raceway up here in michigan but i doubt anybody cares to see pics of that.
[ QUOTE ] hey i'm a new guy anybody care? [/ QUOTE ] your just askin for smart *** responses are'nt you? your not too far from me. i'm from G.R. but live in Charlotte (south west of Lansing) now. what have you got for projects? how old are you (are you a youngun? or a greybeard?)? got any pics of your rides??? come on, you call that an intro?? lets get the WHOLE story from ya ...
i'm a young dude 22yrs old , been around hot rods my whole life , i'd like to get some older projects going but old tin is hard to find up here, you knowthat already. so i'll play with caddy for now, i've got the mechanicals pretty much set , just starting to plan the outside now.
the outside is MY thing. i do alot of custom bodywork and air ride suspensions. that Caddy of yours NEEDS some bags . i sell Airlift stuff, if ya ever need anything. you plannin to go to the Detroit Autorama??? if you've never been to it you won't want to go back to the G.R. one after you do. Detroit Autorama is the ****! as far as indoor car show around these parts go. you runnin the original motor in that Cad???
i was at the g.r. autorama today there really wasn't **** there that was exciting , a few nice rides but alot of ****boxes. and yes the caddy still has the 331 with 55,000 on it i'd like to find a aftermarket intake 3 2's or 2 4barrels but it's not my highest priority right now , next on the list is to get the generator rebuilt so i can drive it at night .
don't get rid of that Caddy motor. if ya do put me first in line to buy it ... a BUNCH of us from the board will get together at the Detroit Autorama if ya want to meet some people. if your up for an hour drive your welcome to swing out to my place one day and have a look at the junk i'm workin on. where exactly in G.R. do ya live??
Right on Kid. I lived on the West Side up until about 2 years ago. I'm trying to remember if I knew any kids named Nick in GR... Post a pic of your Caddy...
Another GR guy, Holy **** !!!.I was just telling Mike O at the GR Autorama that there were almost no HAMBers on this side of the state.I live in Lowell but I work in Wyoming at that big orange **** box, I mean Home Depot. My brother Chad (Springer) lives over near 68th and Division. There are a couple more guys around as well. Welcome.
It's nice to know there's another guy in G.R. that likes the old stuff. We need to convert a few more. If you can you should go the Detroit Autorama. There is going to be some really cool **** there this year. If you need any help getting there or a ride or something just let me know.
hey , nice to meet you guys. I think i'll probnably roll down with some of my buddies, but i'm not sure yet.
