I went to the KOA Lead Scene East show yesterday in Biglersville (near Gettysburg) , PA ... what a show !! Lots of great-looking customs , plenty of clean rods and Flamin' **** & the Hotrods kicking out great music (as usual) in the background . I only took about 250 pictures , so hopefully more pics will show up online soon . Seeing as how I'm building 2 shoebox Fords right now (only one is mine) , obviously I took pics of Shoeboxes , but I took loads of other pics ... don't worry ! I love looking at customs that actually make you THINK about what stuff was done , and there was plenty of that stuff there . Hopefully this show will continue to grow .

  12. Hey Buddy,
What time where you there ? I was there from about noon to 2:30 and there are more cars in your pics than I saw, maybe I should have been latter ? Nice pics mine would only be duplicates.

hey allen, i was there most of the day yesterday didn't see you. great show. i was a little worried about koa advertising as minitrucks and whatever else but happy to see about 85% customs. think i took all the same shoebox pics as you and ran into some old friends. how's your car coming? jerseymike

Thanks to all ! Wish I could've seen more friends there , but we were probably all busy wiping our brows , lol !

I was there from about 11:30 (or so) till about 4 . Towards the end of our stay , there were people pulling out . I'd say the busy time was about 1-3 - it just got too damn HOT !!

If anyone has pics (repeats or not) , feel free to post 'em up here !

JerseyMike - my shoebox is coming along slowly - I got the brakes up & working (thanks a lot) , the rear blocks/poly bushings are in , got my Aerostar springs for up front , the engine/trans are on the way (got Jamco mounts) and I got my grille bits sorted out . I'll hopefully be able to keep clicking along on it this summer . Once my friend Craig's custom Shoe is roadworthy , I'll have a M***IVE jones to get mine on the road !

    Alan,
Thanks for the pics. It was cool to see you and Craig at the show. First time to that show and Gettysburg. We'll be back again. The heat was a bit much for the warden so we chilled back at the hotel for a bit and then went to The Historic Fairfield Inn for a nice dinner with some car friends. We did some Gettysburg Battlefield stuff Sunday morning. We're goin' back to do some more historic stuff in the fall.

thanks for the pic's, i couldn't make it my son had football lineman challenge all day sat & i got 3rd degree sunburn, that made sunday a day to soak in the pool !! seen a few cars roll thru town like the 57 g***er & tall t behind him but the real kicker was friday afternoon seeing the the rock a billy ford truck missing his front end with the mordoor 66 caprice behind it' the guy's working beside me heard me talk about the leadsled show' one guy says "was that a leadsled?" i had to laugh "yea a bad example of one" but it looks like he had fun though sitting on the cowl of his truck with a big smile on his face, he may have been in the sun a little to long also!!

Hey Ol Skool '51, nice meeting you at the show. The brownie bit is a good ice breaker when you meet fellow HAMB ers. Been doing it for over three years now. Vending gives you too little time to view the cars or meet owners. Stan and I met and talked to a large amount of HAMB members at this meet. That's the reason we had a great time at the show. Jeff

The chopped white '51 Ford Victoria has a one piece rear window.
It must be a windshield from another car.
Does anyone know what it is?
