JUNE 18th -19th (two nights this year!!!) It's our third year... can you believe it?!?!? The Rose City Round-Up is a celebration of the hot rod lifestyle here in the Portland, OR. We are hoping that this years event will be larger and will continue to bring something special to the city of Portland. Each year of the show, we choose a charity to give proceeds to. This year, many of us in the Portland area have been effected by the struggling economy, so we have chosen the Oregon Food Bank as our beneficiary. This year we have some GREAT entertainment for you including the second year of the Pin-Stripe Off, and the first year of the Flame Thrower Compe***ion. When you pre-register your car this year, you get free admission to the Friday night kickoff party, with the Chop Tops, Juke Joint Gamblers, and Texectioners. We also have a pretty amazing line-up for bands on Saturday as well. Keep your eyes posted on the website www.rosecityroundup.net We invite you to join us in 2010, you won't be disappointed! This event brings a mix of Pre-1965 Cars, Pre-1980 Motorcycles, and Pre-1980 Bikes, with great music, food, and vendors. This show should guarantee a great hot rod experience

First off I wanted to let you all know to pick up this months issue of CK Deluxe, we not only have a spot in there, the COVER is from the show! We also have some pretty awesome stuff for the first 100 cars that pre-register for the show. Make sure you get pre-registered TODAY!!! If you are interested in the Flame Thrower compe***ion, it will be on friday night at 9pm. Make sure you get there... you don't want to miss this! If you have a car you want to enter into the compe***ion, it NEEDS to be pre-registered. The pin-stripe off is back this year, and is limited to 10 contestants. it will be mid-day on saturday, and each contestant will be provided a skateboard deck to stripe on thanks to big daddy's board shop, and Pin-Striping by Wolf (Winner, and one of the Judges this year). If you are interested make sure you let us know ASAP!!! You can also get your wristbands for the 2-night event NOW online, as well as take a look at the full list of bands playing. Basicly we just want it to be homemade, you have total creative freedom. You bring your trophy to the Registration booth when you get there, and we'll give you a form to fill out for your pick. We'll go put something in the car for you so they don't take off before the awards. We then bring up all the trophys to the stage, and we'll call up your club to give your award away when it's time.
