Anyone ever use mopar spindles and brakes on a ford axel?

    So i was ****oning up the front suspension of my 47' plymouth yesterday, and i noticed that where the kingpin holds the spindle to he suspension looks oddly like the end of a ford axle. I didnt have one laying around or i would have grabbed it to check. Mopar front brakes are probably the best drum brakes to come out of the 40s, so i was wondering if this had ever been done?

    Dig in the archives,it's been done and isn't a 1-800 buy a kit thing.

    ...don't those brakes use 2 wheel cylinders?...or was that idea later?
