Thanks Curt that's going to help a lot any idea where to get the rise and fall dimension for the rails Im going to make a set for a up coming project I am going to make the rails out of 2x6 and space everything up one inch so it can be snake ****r low and not ever worry about hitting the oil pan or anything important thanks agen

There is more dimensional data in the ***embly Manual which can be bought at most swap meet book sellers or from one of the old truck vendors.

But basically from just over the front axle to the start of the kick up over the rear the top of the frame is flat.

Since the stock suspension all mounts to the bottom of the frame you're only going that low if you modify those parts of the frame that are anything but flat. If you are doing something other than stock suspension I don't see the need for precise rise and fall data from a stock truck with a 5-1/2 channel if my memory is working today.

That is a very good point old sub I read your post and thought to my self well duhh all that needs to be the same on the front is the mounting height of the radiator support and the rear will have way more kick up so that information is not relevant to what i want to do so now ill have to get my poop in a group and start building a jig for the new rails. Thanks guys
