Turbo 350 cooler

    Maybe this question has been asked, but i have beeen looking for 2 day for some old threads. My question is i am puting a 250 straight 6 and a turbo 350 in my 1950 chevy fleetline ,what is the best way to cool my ****** (is there a radiator with the cooler built in that will fit or seperate cooler) thanks for all the help...

    Any auto parts store will have a cooler that will work for what you need.

    On the right side of the TH350 are two ports that hook to the cooler.

    Google the subject...all the info is there.

    or, with som exchanges about routing of waterhoses, use a 55-57Chevy radiator,, who has the internal transcooler....

    Different types of external coolers are available from parts stores, catalogs, online or junk yards. Almost all are priced reasonably. I used just an auxiliary cooler used by guys towing as a stand alone for years, currently have a cylinder type mounted on the frame. There are countless ways to cool it.
     
  5. In a colder climate a stand alone would not be best as the fluid would never get up to operating temp.
