I have been looking on this forum and all over the internet for early (20'/30's) Chev and Olds parts. Man are they hard to find. I knew that they would be harder than ford of the same era but it is ridiculous. I really do not want to put ford parts in this one but for suspension, spindles, hubs etc. I can't find em. Any help????

I am trying to build a 1928 olds. I would like to stick with GM parts. If I keep the headlight housings I will need the bezels. I was going to keep the I-beam axle but I am not sure if i will be able to track down a new spindle (that can hold disc brakes) hubs and king pins that will fit. I know I could just purchase ford parts from many hot rod parts companies but i want to stick with GM if possible.

Actually maybe my problem is i don't know what will work... ?

Thanks, now i just need to get motovated again, to finish the rest of it.
I have an original 29 Chev front axle, which ECI makes a disc conversion kit for if would help you, probably very adaptable. PM me with contact info, we should talk.

Not sure what you're looking for, but the best source for older stock Chevy stuff is a parts wanted ad on the Vintage Chevrolet Club of America (VCCA) chat room www.vcca.org/forum . It might behoove you NOT to mention 'hot rods' - it's a restorer's forum.
