After I bought the gennie deuce roadster this spring I thought I would be hunting an Auburn dash for it but scored one on the HAMB. I'll just be hunting trinkets and buying a couple of $500 tee shirts.

  2. Crazy as always i'm sure. Unfortunetaly i will miss it this year, but my partners from Gasoline Magazine will be there to cover it!! Guess i'll just check the pictures and hear the stories.

LA Roadster Show is always a totally bitchin' deal, good freinds, killer machinery, great swapmeet, etc.

This year I'm most stoked about finally meeting Joe Barnett face to face and reuniting him with his old '27 T Touring.

I'm seeing a lot of people are going for the swap meet. Dang, more competition!

The Mexican restaurant sounds like a great idea, I've never been. I'm sure it's better the a $5 hot dog.

I was there today, already over 15 Truck-trailers lined up at the gates for the swap. And they don't even open the gates till Friday morning. I even saw a truck and trailer with Kentucky plates. Some of the stuff on those trailers was already being sold.

Going for everything! The cars, the friends, the swap the show, and L.A. in general!!! Oh for food - the Mexican joint is ok, but we have better in Phoenix - The Northwoods in Azusa is the way to go for giant bloody steaks, and lots of drink! not only do they have a song and cake for happy birthday celebrations, but you also send them to your friends across the place saying that they're celebrating they're "oneness"as a gay couple !!!

The show itself (shiny roadsters) and the vendor area is exactly the same from Saturday to Sunday. The Specialty Parking area (customs, coupes, primered cars etc) and the swap meet are probably off by 40% on Sunday morning, with people leaving steadily during the day.
