Gonna be in GR this weekend and wondering if there are any regular weekly Saturday nite cruise spots to check out. Rather go out and check out some hot rods than sit in a hotel room and watch reruns on the tube.
I found this website http://www.carshownews.com/national/MI.htm and it shows a couple of car shows this weekend but I don't know if these cities are near grand rapids or not. I think Sparta is somewhat close, like a half hour away.
I ran across that one too, allot of good info on the site. I was hoping for some info on weekly cruise spots. I figured Grand Rapids is big enough to have a couple of regular spots that are good for weekly "impromptu car shows", just about every town does. Some are just bigger than others. I have been to the Metro Cruise and am planning on going again this year but this weekend is a graduation thing and Saturday evening is open so I was hoping to check out the local scene. If you guys can't help then it looks like reruns on the tube.
You could check out Gilmore Car Museum in Hickory Corners, every wednesday night they have a free show that can attract a lot of cars (some traditional) in a great location.
