[ QUOTE ] Wow you guys are awesome. A hot rod board that can muster more prayers for a child than a Christian message board prayer chain ever does. Knee mail sent http://www.bibleforums.org/forum/ [/ QUOTE ] There's a lot of Christians here, I'm sure.
I'm not really one for prayer, but for what it's worth, I wish the best to you, your family and most of all, your son. I can sympathize with what you guys are going through. About six months ago I started getting bad stomach aches, headaches, chest pains and dizzy spells. It's been worrying the hell out of me, I've felt like ****, and I lost my job over it. Until I can get something sorted out with some health insurance, all the doctors can do is tell me that it may or may not be acid reflux, and send me on my merry way with some prescriptions. Not knowing is bad, and I can only imagine how awful it must be when it's your child. I hope your son's ailment turns out to be something that can be sorted out fairly easily. Make sure to tell him that there are a lot of folks out there pulling for him. Also, and I'm sorry to get sidetracked again, but would you mind telling me what prescription he was on, in case I get recommended to take it [or have already been taking it]? I don't want a 'cure' that will end up giving me a heart attack.
plm...... You are in our prayers....My wife and I can relate to a child with a heart problem ...Our daughter was born with half a heart--backwards and on the wrong side ...we were told she would live 2 weeks ...she's now 31 years old and is doing FINE ! She had open-heart at 18 years old ....Modern medicine has come a LONG WAY since then ......and children have an AMAZING recovery rate ... I have to say -- I HIGHLY reccomend DEBORAH heart and lung in Brown's Mills,NJ -- NUMBER ONE in the world for pediactric heart problems.....may God send an angel to watch over your child ......( he DID for mine ....) Thank's guy's for the kind words and prayers. The medicine he was taking that was pulled of the shelves was propulcid, not quite sure of the spelling. Yeah this has been frustrating for my wife and I, more so my wife. My son is the kind of person who could have a 102 degree fever and still run around and play. You would never realize he was sick. His family doctor mentioned to my wife that she was just a worry wort mother. She has been talking about changing doctors. He has been my wifes doctor ever since she was my sons age. I'll keep you guy's posted on how he is doing. Thankyou very much, you all. later shawn
You got my prayers too! Please consider a second opinion anytime your not comfortable with some of your Doctors decisions. You can't afford not to. PJ
I bet that's scary. A good friend's son had similar spells, and it turned out that he had low iron and blood sugar levels. Hopefully your son's problems are as simple. God bless you.
Good luck to your son. There is nothing in this world as special as a kid. Hope everyrhing works out for you and the family. Keep us posted.
plmczy , There's nothing worse than having your child sick and having to leave his well being in the hands of others - a sense of complete helplessness. We're all praying for your son's fast recovery and long & happy life.
My prayers are for you and your son. I can't image what it is like for you and your wife, not to mention your son. My youngest is 7. God Bless and keep you. r
I'm sorry to here that man I have a 10 year old and work with kids as a sub. It always breaks my heart when I hear about stuff happening with kiddos (I couldn't watch any of the tsunami stuff-it just broke me up) I'll defintely be praying for ya man...
