Calling all Hambers. Gene Winfield will be having a Metal Working Seminar July 15, 2010 as a part of the Syracuse Nationals. (Flyer attached). Please call (800) 753-3978 to register. Space will be limited.
Hey Fools - To the top to keep the word out there. Gene is a great guy. You'll love his seminar too ! !
I just attended one here...was a blast , I would go again in a heartbeat !! And this is me with the master !
Update : We've decided to leave this a one day seminar that will encomp*** Gas Welding, Hammer Welding, Leading, English Wheel skills, Bead Rolling, Hole Filling, Metal Shrinking and Strecthing, and some usefull demos from one of the most famous Customized in the World. Gene is 82 years old and can work circles around many of us. Time is ticking.
B.T.T.T. to keep the information circulating. Hamber - TDCENG (where the seminar is being held) was involved in a back wreck on 5/22/2010. He totalled his Deuce Coupe ! ! I was in a car behind him and witnesses the whole incident. He has a broken Vertibrae in his neck and lower back. Miraculously, he has full function and is in a neck and back brace system and getting Rehab. now. At this point, we are still planning on going forward with the seminar. I will update this thread if anything changes. Drop him a P.M. (TDCENG) (if you get a chance) with get well (and back to cruisin') wishes.
We're still on. We are going to be able to put on the seminar with Gene Winfield on July 15, 2010. Hamber (TDCENG) is doing better and has committed to going on with the seminar. Don't miss out on this chance to interact with the MASTER. This seminar is being put on in conjunction with the Syracuse Nationals car show. It is a great show with all kinds of vehicles represented. There will be a "Winfield" award given out during the show. See WWW.rightcoastcars.com for more show information. Hope to see some Hambers at the show. It is GREAT. There were more than 7,100 cars last year and I'm certain that there will be at least that many this year. Come see the terrific Central New York region. Easy in and out of the New York State Fairgrounds in Syracuse. Over 100 acres of cars, cars, and more cars. Thanks, VOODOO
BTTT : Just keepin' the word fresh. This will be a great chance to meet and work with Gene. He is a super guy.
Check out the link below. There is going to be a HAMB friendly area of the show just for Old School Rods. http://www.rightcoastcars.com/syracuse-nationals-old-skool.php AND don't forget :
