Event Coverage NHRA Reunion 2010 Bowling Green Ky pics

Saturday started off a little wet but by noon the skys were clear and the smell of racing fuel was in the air. Personal highlight of my day was meeting Hubert Platt. I loved seeing the Stone, Woods & Cook Willys and the SS/AH cars put on one hell of a show. I reduced the res of the pics so as not to burn modems . Damn, wish I could have been there! Next year I won't miss it. Thanks for posting the pics. After last month's flooding, I figured the only things running this weekend would be Baracudas and Marlins.............

 

I actually saw some water lines on the back of a seat in the stands. They did a great job getting the place in order...you'd never know it was 13-16 ft (at least that's what several people told me) under water.
