After walking row after row of carbon copy duece hiboys, the agressive stance of this car made it all worthwhile.
It was owned by a restoration company and they wanted $15,000 as is.......but only if you would also be willing to contract them for the resto work for an additional $60-80.
And they have been dragging it to shows for a couple for years now with different signs on from "Before and After" with the other Woody, to for sale at something stupid like $100,000 to SOLD. I guess this is the latest tactic ....
Thanks for the pics. The green hiboy with the cool stance is from North Carolina. It was on the 2010 All Deuces Run to Blowing Rock...really neat, well done car. You can see more here https://www.robertmccarterphoto.com/Roadster_Update.php
great pics tom...but the green '34 billet-mobile roadster looks confused with the wires/dirt-trackers
It looks dayzed and confused BUT I like it, just different enough! Thanks for taking the time to post picks.........................
Does anyone know the owner of this car? I believe he is a h.a.m.b.er but cant remember his name. I have a couple questions for him. Cool pics b.t.w.
Thanks, Tom.....great photos...........sorry I missed it, especially when it's 20 minutes from me My first LARS AWOL in 40 years..... thanks for the eye-candy, though! Doug
Man, sorry to hear that Doug. I was looking forward to your coverage! And the possibility of running into you. We were pretty tired and left before covering the whole thing as well as I would have liked.
