It was very common in 30s, 40,s 50s,To make a pickup out of car.(G****s of Wrath). I find them interesting! I set the roadster back on the frame, maybe make a coupe out of my pickup!

I like em. Coincidentallty, I just bought one today, but haven't hauled it home yet, so no pictures - but I'll post some soon. It's cool because the cab's doors are "suicide doors. It's a 1927 Hudson sedan made (back in the day) into a pickmeup. I am going to mount my vintage Manley model 6-J hand-crank wrecker boom to the frame right behind the cab like the vintage wreckers of the 1930's ( I think that's maybe what it already was, but no wrecker boom when I found it. I wish the truck conversion still had the Hudson engine and ****** with it, but since it doesn't I'll have to find some other vintage power plant from the era to install. Anybody got any mid 1920's Hudson parts?

That thing is going to be a kick *** ride when it's finished!
Post the pictures of what you started with and the conversion progress if you have them!

Sedan to pickup? heres a 32 4dr sedan cowl and back panel with 2 dr sedan doors and shortened 32 box. All setting on a 32 frame. This project didn't make it to fruition though as the parts were sold off to fund my other car. Steve

you should read the rules of the site first before you post, this is a pre 65 site. Not to be a **** but you could potentially take a bashing. Go to the "new to the HAMB" section and introduce yourself. Good Luck!!

this is from about 10 years ago. I think the body mods were done long ago. It was a tudor converted to a pickup cab, looked decent and gave more room inside than a regular cab too...sorry it's not a great pic

Made this pick-up from a $400 29 Plymouth sedan. Sold it to a guy in Chicago and never saw it again. Wouldnt mind having it back....
