Hell- Ya got good taste- The Improved A is A+ stylish, the DeSoto is the original ribbed one & gorgeous, straight. Nailhead coupe & truck next door aRe insane. I gotta stop here, too much cool, all of it.

Here are a couple more pix of that car. two superchargers, four carbs and looks like a little bit of nitrous. ...and a huge freakin' battery in the trunk.

Yeah, it was two big mickey Thompsons away from being a cheesy pro-streeter. ...but it had nice parts and good workmanship.

Thanx for posting... nicest selection of cars I've seen so far. Just wondering, was the crowd down a little this year, or not? Many of the photos I've seen reveal a lot of empty space. Not a criticism - I was last there in 2005 and love this show more than just about anything else, just wondering. Gary

No it was pretty much packed again this year.

Some of those pics were taken at 8 or 9 in the morning on Friday before they started really filling in. (it was also a lot nicer to walk around before the temperature climbed way up there). Some of those were also taken in the afternoon after people started leaving.

 

A few more. Some not 100% HAMB worthy but I thought they were worth looking at.

 

Last ones for now.

 

Same car, although it's changed hands a couple of times since it was 'grahams' - the present owner had the gloss black laid on it this fall. The car sure deserved it.

gnichols, the vendor area was a little bit thinner than years past, the swap meet seemed BETTER than the last couple of years but the crowd was definitely up. It did rain hard for a bit Saturday morning, maybe that caused some folks to wait a bit before coming in Saturday. I know you couldn't swing a dead cat in the stands Saturday without hitting a race spectator.
