Since getting the gasser i had it painted, new straight axle****embly, vega steering box, 427 cu. in. small block, world block, reworked brodix heads and manifold, callie crank, oliver rods, 12.5 comp pistons, jesel open timimg belt, and jesel rocker arm****embly. solid roller with 4/7 swap, quick fuel special built 980 carb. 456 ford 9 in. rear, strange 33 spline axles. 3 point roll bar, moon tank. Coan turbo 400 with reverse pattern, manual valve body, trans brake, line lock.
Very nice, glad you checked clearance, it surprises me how many guys don't. I would be curious how that carb works for you.
when we dynoed the engine we started with another racing carb, same size, just to get a base number, we did 3 pulls and then changed to the quickfuel card and gained 7hp, we were all very surprised but when qf built the carb they said it should perform like that. the car is street driven and the carb runs great.
