I have located a '34 coupe that been setting in a guys garage forever almost. He bought it when he was in high school, drove it for a few years, then blew the flathead up. It has set in his garage ever since, and he is drawing social security now. Its all there and complete, bumper to bumper. No rust or big dents that I can see. It has an old, old roll and pleat interior, '35 wire wheels. All the gl*** is there, the doors shut like new. He thinks its worth at least $20,000. What do you guys think. Oh, this is in the mid west, things don't go for near what they would on the coasts. As good as this car is, it would still need a ton of work and money spent on it.

Usually I would say yeh it's worth that much, but a 32 3 window in maybe just a little worst shape sold for $19,500.

With that in mind I would say between $15000 and $17000.

I'd start offering him $15,000 and ****er back and forth from there upward, until you two can agree on a price.

I'd pay that in a heartbeat. Couple years ago I was trying to buy a body, I've seen bodys that needed lots of patch panels go for that on e-bay.

EXACTLY!! If your going to ask about worth you've got to supply some visual aids.

Last I checked they stopped making 34 coupes a couple years ago, so you might be smart to jump on it.

People will travel for a '34 coupe.

If it is in the condition you say it is, it'll bring 20K all day long.

If you are serious about the car, go over with $15,000 in cash and hold it out and say 'here it is to prove I'm serious". Older guys seem to appreciate cash in hand rather than words of offers flowing from your mouth.

If it's a complete, all steel, unchopped, unfilled, with the door handles and with minimal or no rust, and the windshield still swings out and the back window still rolls down, well when was the last time you saw one for sale? I'd say 20K is a good place to start if not end.

Last year I sold a Nice original running and driving 34 fordor sedan for 22,500. I wished it was a coupe, I could have gotten more.
