I did absolutely nothing productive on my 31 or 34. Took pictures to put on Ebay. Daughter got sick so helped take care of her. Those Deuces are sweet

It was a good weekend for me (three days). On Friday I got my rear rims and tires in and mounted as well as my Mustange Gas tank. Spend the weekend fabbing up the firewall set back. I decided I wanted to keep the factory look so I set it back and it is still a two piece unit. This is my first attempt at anything like this. (I have to do the finish grinding but it is in. (I am tired of welding up holes, grinding, fabbing patch panels and welding/ grinding again..

Here is the Sedan with the new tires and wheels on (next week I put it on its own weight and roll it out into the daylight.

Here is a pic of the firewall. I think it turned out good. (still need to grind the upper firewall down and fill a few items so it looks nice and smooth like the bottom.)

Well, I wish I would've done what Deuce Roadster did (my vote for most productive weekend), but instead, I trial fitted the new magneto into my racer. It goes in and out with the cap removed, but just barely...Then I watched lots of football, and tried to thaw out after playing with the mag in my unheated "garage"...

Started fabbing exhaust on the '40. Both sides cut and tacked to the back of the x-member.

Pretty happy with the dip under the frame. It's a couple of inches higher than anything else hanging down and will be out of sight once the car is on the ground.

Nice 'hangers' eh? [IMG] I have no idea what the next generation of rodders is going to do when the wire clothes hangers run out. Better start hoarding![IMG]

Thinking I can fit the turbo tubes between the back of the x and the rear end.

Next big decision - over or under the axle?

No pics but i finally got back to working on the falcon after letting it sit for 3 months to take care of finishing the insulation and drywall in the garage so i can finally have heat for a winter. it's gonna be around 15 deg the next week but of course the propane tank isn't here so it's back to the turbo heater, I hate that thing. everthing is rusted because if it, but I degress

What i did on the falcon was finish stripping the interior. removed the headliner and retainer clips, so i can somewhat remember how to re-install it, got the old belts off va***ed everthing out, removed the trunk lid and started a new progress list. My goal is to have it done by the Jalopy Showdown. We'll see. [IMG]

Amen to that! I did a little bit of nothing except sit in front of this magic box. I feel like a lazy scud. It was too cold to work in the garage; that will be my excuse.

Finnished grinding flash off, and polishing my 4" Merc crank for my flathead project, and got it to the machine shop. I realized that I really don't have much left to do on the engine, other than put it all together after machining.

I'm happy!... Cause I haven't gone through the reciepts yet. [IMG]
