I am looking for a good resonable machine shop near Pittsburgh, PA. I need a 1967 Chevy 250 rebuilt. Bored .040" over, crank knife edged, block bosses ground off basically lighted up to add alittle power. Looking for somone who knows what they are doing the right way in timely fashion. I know a couple shops but hear horror stories or 2 year lead time to get engine back scares me.

Definitely try Bob and Pittsburgh Machine, they have always been super helpful and fun to BS with! Bob helped us with the 351C for the F100.
I know you said "close" to Pittsburgh, but if you dont mind taking a little drive up 79, Al Krem,at Krem speed equipment is the guy to talk to.He is a stand up guy and expert machinist.
