If I make it, it would be my honor to bestow a beer upon you, Hotrodeo.

Someday, if you ever get the price low enough, I would buy your Henry J

I heard that....are you gonna have the "side deal" done?

REMINDER to those coming....bring a few extra bucks to contribute to the 50/50 drawing. I'll be hitting you up. And I have all sorts of creative ways to get your money....:D

Our chrome plating shop will be set up indoors thursday-saturday.
I will be there with my wife Christy to man the station all day friday.

I've never been to this show before, but I am definitely looking forward to it. We won't be selling anything, but will have a few items to show off and be willing and able to give estimates, quotes, and take in work at the show.

I had always heard about the Road Rocket Rumble........watched the video....heard the stories..........but BEING there was a much greater experience than what I had hoped. I pulled in there on Thursday at 1130 am and the lot was already half full! I thought "this is gonna be a cool show". And I was right.

The Road Rockets make everyone feel right at home and the atmosphere there is totally laid back with everyone wanting to just enjoy the hot rods and the music.

I was really impressed with the music that was to be had at the Rumble.
Wayne the Train Hancock never disappoints and is always one of my favorites.

Since I was unable to make the Indy World of Wheels in the winter and I am no longer able to do the Good Guys events....there were people in the Indy area who thought I had fallen off the face of the earth! I am not sure the next time I will make it to Indy......but let's all plan on being together next year at the Road Rocket Rumble.

Special thanks to Lon, Whiskers, Muscles, Phone Boy, and others that helped me load out of the Superior Room there in the hotel (yes there are TWO rooms of vendors there at the show, so come and see both rooms next year AND cool off in the nice air conditioning).
I had to be at the Gears N Ears show (suburbs of Chicago) loading in at 5am the following morning and without the manual labor I am not sure I could have made it over there........cause now that I am officially old - I have a lot harder time trying to get all these boxes back in the truck and trailer.

I will try my best to make it back there year after year and I hope ya'll will join me there!

Great show and I look forward to hearing the musical line up for 2011.

way cool show. I came in at the tail end and was VERY impressed by what I saw.

Heard some great music on Sat. night. That Little Richard impersonator is very talented, but a little too realistic looking for my taste!

    Great people watching opportunity

Great Show. Hotter than Hell though :p, thank God for the Hotel being there to cool off in! We had a time checking out all the cars, meeting new people and taking in the entertainment. Thanks to the Road Rockets for putting on a premier event! We hope our first event held later this year proves to be as well orchestrated as this one .

Not sure there are many events out there that are gonna be as smooth as the Road Rocket events.........these guys/gals put on 2 major events a year. With that much experience (this was the 11th annual) the stress that goes along with shows is pretty much at a minimum. I think that is one of the reasons the show is so great - there is no underlying drama or stress.

I sure hope they keep the dates OFF of Back to the 50s from here on out cause I know I wanna be able to do both fer sure!
