I have a milk crate full of assorted SBC Edelbrock, Howard Stewart, Adams, GM Perf. and Weiand aluminum water pumps. I also have more than a dozen new in the box GM large shaft and bearing assemblies to rebuild these pumps. What I'm lacking is the ceramic seal and kit that goes right behind the impeller. Disassebling a few pumps I've found there's a one piece kit that uses a stainless sleeve over the shaft and another style where the seal rides directly on the steel shaft. Either would probably work. Anybody know of a source for those pump parts?
You might try http://www.waterpumpkit.com/waterpumpkits.html Give them a call with dimensions and application and they might be able to help. I spoke with them last week and he told me that they have parts and pieces to rebuild 5000 different types of water pumps.. Hope it helps, Dave
