i found a 1931 or 32 chevy two door coupe i have talked with the guy that has it but i don't know what it's worth it's not in bad shape does need work no motor or ******. any help on what i should be looking to spend?
anything under 1500 i think is a good deal. depending on whats there if it's fendered has the hood etc. if it's just the body and frame rolling then uder 1000 maybe 500 depending on the sheet metal. that's me i don't think that all the good deals are gone.
Keep in mind that you're probably going to have to replace all the wood with metal tubing. I think I have about $200 in material and 40+ hours into replacing the wood in my '31 coupe and we're not done yet. Ed
thanks guys i was planing on rebuilding the whole thing any how. this is for my son so we have some time to do it in. i have yet to get a close look at the car due to the fact its locked up in a yard behind some old buildings.i will call the guy tomorrow to see if he is going to sell it to me or not he had to ask his wife if it was o.k he has had it for 10 years in the same spot out side. if not it will just sit until it rust away and i don't want that to happen. wish me luck on this. if i get it i will post pixs thanks
