I came on a few days back with a question and got many answers and lots of suggestions. Thanks. I was also told that I needed to do an intro, so that is what I am doing at this time.
My name is Rik Aguilera, I currently reside in San Antonio, Tx. I have been building a 27 T, that I am currently dropping a 331 Hemi into. I am running an early model rear (37-36) and am looking for some lime fire like headers (a****st other various parts) for this early Hemi. I am also co-building a 52 chevy sedan deliv. with my brother, and we have been hanging out at "Aces and Eights" lately to work on the two. Oh, and my Harley chopper is being painted by Billy (sideburns) as well. This is really my first "ol school rod" as I have built mainly muscle cars, and motorcycles to this point. The 27 is z'd 12" in the rear, suicide front end with about 10" of drop in the nose. I am really looking to make this into some what of a lakester/early drag car/50's custom. Any help is always a blessing.
    Adios for now,

The more Texans that join this board, the more I can't wait to move back. Welcome to the HAMB.

  4. Welcome to the hazy, crazy place that is the HAMB.

I spent 3 months in the US on my honeymoon. Picked up our hire car in San Antonio, which was cool as we got to drive around the rest of the US in a car with Texas tags. [IMG]

Met Sideburns back when he was working at "The Chevy Shop" (I think that's what it was called).

Your projects sound pretty cool and I'm sure they'll turn out great with Sideburns' influence.

If you can get pics, that would be real cool.

San Antonio? Whoo Hooo! Hell Yeah! Now there's a whoppin 6 of us.

Good intro, I predict minimal **** kicking. Spelled school with a "C", very nice, I like what you've done here.

Your brother buy the "Barella delivery"? Heard all she needed was a carb and a gas tank.

That is the same sedan deliv. We put in a fuel cell, fuel pump, plugs, and just pretty much tuned it up. Runs very smoothly now. We lowered it 5" in the back, and about the same in the front for now. We will be baggin it in a couple of months. Little brother is learning a lot from Sideburns, and they (bro and billy) will be chopping 4 - 4.5 inches out of the top, pancake the hood, and smooth out the rest of the body before christmas. Going to be a pretty cool ride soon.

You would have been dissapointed if I didn't post that. The patch panels did fit great and I appreciate you cutting them so I have a little floor left. It was looking like a Flintstonesmobile there for a bit.

  12. Well pilgrim I guess you aint a stranger anymore.

With a 12 inch kick and 10 in the front the T oughta just about s****e. [IMG] Sounds like you're well on your way. I'm about 12 hours off but let me know if there is anything can do to help.

    Welcome to the HAMB.

Thanks, I am sure that I will be using the resources that are the hamb for further info once I start dropping the motor in. I am looking for some cool ideas on how to mount up some short shocks for the front. I hate the long arms and shocks that most run on a "T". And I am looking for a good "T" bed that I can pretty much cut up to look right for this project. I will post some pics soon. Gotta get a new digital camera this week.

  14. Welcome to the Hamb- sounds like ya got the right idea...

  15. Welcome Rik, I'm also building a T.
