I hate to admit it,but I forgot my camera!!!!! What a ****.....I ALWAYS have my camera!! Dave and I got on the frwy and I looked around and realized I didn't bring it. He says "you want to turn around and go get it?" I said no,someone will get pic's....
We were sitting there eating and I looked over and Roger O'dell was pulling in in his wifes '60 Caddy! They drove all the way from Canyon Lake....at least 100 miles!! Also that really nice 60 Ford Custom with the bar grill was there! What an awesome car....

I just wanted to thanking everyone for coming out and hanging out!!!

This was our (Los Boulevards) first guerrilla cruise and I think it turned out alright.

Object of our gorilla-cruise is to pick a spot and just show up. No planning .. no high dollar production.. no fuss.. no muss. Just cruise on over and spend some time.

The next one might be at the same place or it may change so stay tuned.

We're looking to support old time eateries were we can garb a bite to eat and throw a little coin at the owner. We're looking for a cool old burger/taco stand. They need to have large parking lot with plenty of parking where we won't interfere with their usual business.

Ideally we want a business with decent food who could use a shot in the economic arm by having 100 of our closest HAMB friends spend a buck or two in exchange for hanging out in there lot. We don't want walk in eateries becuase we want people to hang out outside with there cars and mingle. Think big parking lot, walkup windows, tables and benches to grub, and some foot traffic so as to have the neighbor hood enjoy.

So send send me your suggestions.... you never know.... the next Los Boulevardos Guerrilla-Cruise may be in you neighborhood!!!!!!

Thanks for all the hamb support! It was nice seeing familiar faces and meeting some new ones. Yeah, like Gooz said, give some suggestions if you know of any cool spots. We're down to cruise pretty much anywhere.

Kevin, I wish Jungle chicken was still around. I p*** by it all the time and that little building looks worse and worse. My old neighborhood has changed quite a bit. Thats where I grew up. On a semi-related note, I'm going to buy that book about all the old LA eateries at the broiler on wednesday. Save me a copy!:D

It's smart that you have put some thought into your requirements for possible locations for future guerilla runs. I was at the Hat and thought it was an inspired choice. Good on you!! My only complaint is that I couldn't find anyone who would race me. (I drove the Subaru 360 micro pickup.)
