Corvair Pick Up's

A friend of mine was at Carlisle PA. this week and here is one of her pics....I had forgotten how unique these special little Corvairs really were, with their side loading and all.
Too all of you that have them.....Congrats...they are real gems!!

Got a ride in one the other day, nice and quiet with the engine way out back and lots of leg room. Fun!

 

I had one just like that long ago. Cool looking but way underpowered. I suppose a Spyder engine transplant might have changed that though!
