I just picked up a 1933 Ford Pickup over a week ago.I already had a1935 Ford Pickup I got a few months ago and was collecting parts for and currently have it for sale.Today i was cleaning out the bed of it and was having second thoughts on which truck to keep.I know the final decision is mine. But,which one would you keep.I really can't afford to keep both. They both need about the same amount of work.Thanks.

My preference would be the '33 but as I've gotten older (larger:)) I'm afraid that reality would dictate the '35. Too bad you can't put one aside and do it later.

Since selling the 33 would likely net more money to be put toward the 35 than the reverse I'd go with the 35 which is a darn nice truck too.

building a 32 my self i have to say that the 32-34 is alittle more popular, but i really like the look of a full fendered 35/36 truck. ford just nailed the truck from the get go.

lower it alittle, upgrade the mill and drive the **** out of it!

It does come down to leg room, and the distances that you plan on traveling in it. But i'm am bias to the 32-34 cab.

If they were mine I would keep the 35. I would keep the body relatively stock .

If you are going to make a open wheel or chopped and dropped type car keep the 33.

I believe that 35, 36, and 37 ford pickups are some of the finest looking trucks anyone ever made just the way they came form Ford.

However if you cut them up it is very hard to improve their looks.

If I had the 35 I would put 4 bar suspension front and rear slightly lowered with F-1 drumb brakes front and 9" F-100 rear end.

I would run a sb Ford with a T-5 trans and have a reasonably fast and very reliable truck that already has knockout good looks.

    :) :) :) **** :) :) :)

Sure, tease us, its like you have two hot hot chicks but only have time for one, Betty or Veronica, Don't you have a friend who you could swing a deal with and keep them both in your life, Ill call the 33 Betty and Ill go with her, she will be the naughty girl and the 35 will be the expensive girl like Veronica. Either way have a nice time you dirty dog you.

keep the one with AC and cruise control..:D in all seriousness; i'd keep both, hotrod one and keep the other bone stock, and use it as a daily driver. you might be surprised when you putz the stocker to shows and win trophies.

my 0.02 worth if you want a rod go with the 33 if you want stock body keep the 35. As someone else said you'd be hard pressed to beat Henry's designers in the looks dept. on mid thirties trucks.

  28. why not try to make some money on them both and take what u make and get one in better shape then either of those ?

I like your thinking.I'm out of work and retraining for a new career and I'm car poor.No funds.I was thinking of selling one to fund the other.Maybe I should be patient and wait until I get working again? The 33 has been sitting since 69 and the 35 has been sitting for I don't know how long.I guess they could sit a little longer?
