Looks great both ways. But the most important part is driving them, works better now, perfect. Neat roadster man. ~Sololobo/~
Can't afford new valve covers right now, so i painted them black. Decided to do the wheels also. I drove it around jacksonville this weekend in traffic and it never went above 180, even in traffic. My biggest issue is trying to figure out how to drop the grille a bit. But for now i'll take that trade off for the ability to ride.
You did the right thing ... function always trumps looks IMHO. Kinda sad though, I've always liked the track noses. Below is a pic of someone's RPU that I like a lot. You have a nice looking car, either way!
Just some ideas; Droping the rad, mostly i find that top tank dont fit shell cus the ends of tank needs to be cut and redone to about a 45*or so,, so shell drops down, also bottom tank some times can be mod so it fits lower and miss what ever maybe in its way . Keep in mind that upper hose needs to be so it dose not hold a air pocket when rad is lower. Funny thing about the note of 500hp+ will not cool with Mustang rad=no shit, motors are heat pumps and more hp=more heat, what do guys not get about that. Mustang rag will do fine up to about 250hp depending on air and fan,a little more if well done and not run hard.
