I use to run a small, cheap, not much power 12V radio in my 6V 1938 Chevy and it played and was loud enough for me....Try it............

Or you can place a small 12 volt battery somewhere. It will play a good while before needing charged. Just put it on a charger now and then.

Go to Mac's Auto and buy a 6 to 12V inverter it will power all 12V radios and CD's.
I have one in my 48 Lincoln and I power a c***ette player and a radio.
This will work with 6V pos ground and change to 12 neg ground.

6 to 12 inverter...it's tiny like smaller than your fist....had one in my 51 truck for 4 years, worked great. ebay has them or where ever...gotta specify positive or negative ground when you get one
