I live in Centralia and was amazed at the amount of o/t cars that were getting away with the burnouts and drag racing during the cruise. Unfortunately this town is full of drunken assholes that don't know when to leave the car parked if they are drinking. I like a drink as much or more than the next guy but I leave my ride parked because I don't want to hurt anyone or ruin the fun. I hope the average butt rocker muscle car drivin' dicks around here don't ruin the cruise for everyone as I like to see an event near home.

Wow, what a weekend. We had a blast. met some great new friends and built stronger relationships with other semi new friends. Mondo and Kerrie you two are the real deal, thanks for putting up with us and our crazy herd, we couldn't have had so much fun without you guy's, Charles and Elizabeth same to you wo as well. Dude your sausage was, well hu hu you know great!!!!!! thanks for hooking us all up with food, tunes and great company!!!! Jory is fuking great. he pee'd on my bumper. Haha. a great guy with a cool ass car. shane was right there with Jory but he didn't pee on my car. and everyone else we met hung out with and talked to. that made for a rad show.

The cars were great, the show was cool. the cruise was fun/dumb at the same time. nothing like having your kids there to watch cool cars while guy's are peeling rubber and launching sideways toward you. that was lame.

all in all a great weekend. I think that the best part was the drive up and especially the drive back. warm weather cool cars cruisin and excellent Mexican Comida.

    Life is good!!!!!!

Way near home (Like a block) Did ya let out the red carpet to all who wanna camp out on yer lawn next year and drink all yer beer? The Nwheels billet proof after party? Has quite a ring to it. If the dog is pregnant it's not my fault.

Alan, first of all it was great, thanks to you and Slo-Pokes, as everyone who had fun without being stupid will say.

Next year how about all entrants sign an agreement and get a sticker for their plate (bumper, whatever), and anybody the cops catch being stupid who doesn't have that sticker gets hauled off. If someone with a sticker gets caught being stupid, then the town can deal with you, and a thousand pissed off rodders can deal with the idiot. Should be fun, seeing the guy will probably have to find a ride home and take what's left of his pulverized car with him - 'cause those are the terms he agreed to when he signed for the sticker.

Just a thought. Keep us posted and good luck with the backwash - we're pullin' for ya.

The best way to fix the problem is to figure out how to police everyone that doesn't get it. Bad attitudes and the 'right to do what I want in my town' ruins the fun. It's the 5% rule. 100% of the stupid crap done is done by 5% of the people. And it's that 5% that screws it up for everyone else. Throw in a LARGE amount of liquid courage, and you know what happens next. I'm not against drinking or having a good time, but control yourself. Like someone brought up earlier, how would like to wake up, not remember a thing from the previous night, and find out you A) wrecked your car, B) got thrown in jail, C) hurt someone with your car, or D) even worse (or any combination of the above).

This show is AWESOME, and I'm sure we all look forward to next year! Thanks again to all involved in putting it on!

Chop, I GUARANTEE that you would have, at the very least, 500 or so rodders and spectators that would have your back if things got dicey! You do an amazing job with this show, and the logistics of it must be ridiculous, to say the least. Maybe an open forum to all the clubs in the area that participate in this show for suggestions on how to fix this problem before it gets worse? I'd hate to see this portion of the show go away...it is something we ALL look forward to every year!

I know that the Mishief Makers, and specifically AMOCAT Speed Shop have kicked around the idea of doing a downtown cruise in Puyallup during Goodguys, but it may be something that they would be asking for trouble about with what happens in a smaller, less populated area like Centralia. I can't imagine what it would be like for them in a more populated area like Puyallup. More population, more idiots...

yamda.. thanks for sharing a side view. I really like it. sits right and with the factory stainless it has the right vibe.

  11. Had the time of our lives! What a fricking blast! Thanks again Alan, your wifey, the Slo-Pokes and all of the other volunteers that made this happen.
And especially like to thank the guys that get up at 5:30am to warm their cars up so they can get in line to powerpark. Fuck are you guys assholes that just don't get it. We got you figured out for next year for sure.

I think our Club the "StickShifts" should have all got the hardluck award!
Was great camping and chilling with a bunch of killer people. Good Times!!

Alan and I were talking about how to police the cruise with a few guys getting orange vests and standing on the corners and calming people down. I think a couple of cops cruising around wouldn't hurt either.
And Alans idea about giving each club a free swap stall on the sunday is a good one! Should be awesome next year.

Wow BILLETPROOF proved to be the finest car show and cruise yet. I haven't had so much fun standin on a street corner ever! Meeting up with y'all and getting to know the faces and cars was really outstanding. Imagine rowdies at a cruise night?? It would be easy to dampen the spirits with a heavy police presence, I think just a couple of video cameras and a threat of a heavy citation in the mail would control the crowd and ludicrous use of the loud pedal. It's all fun and games until someone gets hurt.
I'd like to thank Alan and all the volunteers and car clubs and they'll make this event such a high point in my existence. Special thanks to the old shits car club who picked my REO jalopy, in its very first show, as best orphan car. I am honored.

  14. The quote that you are only responsible for yourself is not true. If you and a few others did burnouts, you would be responsible for the Billetproof cruise to be shut down. So in essence, you are responsible for everyone when in a group! I like burnouts like the next guy but when its with a ton of people around and lots of cars, I won't bother as a burn out isn't really anything tough to do. I do burnouts in my other cars and not around people as this video of me in a movie shows. It will fry tires if I floor it at 20 mph and I mean fry. 0-60 mph in 3.2 seconds. The video show what the stickiest drag radials do with a bit of Pontiac power.
Don't burn out at cruises as Choptop says. It will end the fun real fast!!!

    Here's my little video.
