Some friends posted some pics of my other cars last week on my intro. Here's a couple of my current project, '60 Falcon 2dr. wagon.Got the suspension "mocked up" front& rear. Not real good pics, but best we could do for now. Can't roll it outside just yet.......

    Thanks guys!

61FalconWagon: I saw yours on your intro a while back. Couldn't believe it! Looks solid as a rock also. Mine was 100% stock&original when I started too.I like the photoshop of yours - you'll need a surfboard hanging out the back, or on the roof!! [IMG]

CougarDan: Never saw that pic before! Thanks for sharing it.

Bitchin' machine. I dig that scoop. Cal Custom used to sell those, I believe they called it the "Brute". A freind of mine found one like that at the swap meet, it was painted flat orange, so no one was even looking at it. He only paid $10 for it, good score.

I like it. It will drive the Falcon squares nuts.

I drive a '61 Futura, on the road to early 60s mild custom.

Sweet! I didn't even know they made the wagon of that style in 2 door. We got that model here in OZ with slightly different front sheetmetal, but not in two door wagon...Cool [IMG]

Sterling example of Swingin' '60's. Rare bird, too. Nice looking car, good work Ford-man.

Thanks Slammed! The mid to late 60's style is what I'm aftr here. I understand Ford made around 27,000 of these in 1960.The wagons came out a few months after the sedans, along with the Ranchero. Many rusted out after a few years(typical FOMOCO) and got recycled into No7 tuna fish cans!!

  17. Nice bird! Makes me wish I'd gone that direction with mine (a 64), but I chopped the shit outa it [IMG] Not sure a chopped gasser would work. Anyone want to photo chop one? (BTW, only 6000 produced in 64.)

Man, I could use those rear quarters for my 60 Raunchero. [IMG]

  19. I really dig that scoop! I've got two of them, one I had on my '57 Belvedere back in 1969 and another I scored a couple years ago. Was going to put them on my '56 Plymouth, but thought they looked dinky on that big-assed hood.

    Thanks guys!

TinBender: I've seen chopped Falcon gassers, nothing wrong with that at all!Yeah the S.D's are VERY rare indeed.

Animal: Seen alot of those type scoops on 55-57 Chevy's years ago.Looked great! Your hood is around the same size, so why not?

Von Tingler : Had a feeling this would be up your alley!!

PakRat32: Yeah, I'm well on my way, but a loooooong way to go! Engine instalation, trans.,fenderwell headers, ladder bars, etc.,etc.It's going to be a busy year! How's your Chevy comming together?

Thanks Tom! The Econoline axel I had was too wide. I got a 4" dropped tube, springs, spindles, disc brakes,- a whole kit from Speedway Mtrs. Nice, quality shit that worked out great so far.The whole thing will be comming out again, so I can clean the frame, fenderwells, etc., and finish welding and painting everything. It's just "tacked" in place right now. When it goes back together I'll se if Bob wants to take pics of it & we can do a tech post. I'm quite pleased with the progress so far.Swing over sometime and check it out.-F.F.

  25. Very kool Bernie!!.......and 61falconwagon your 61 looks sweet also...........my friend is just finishing up 5 years building his 62 two door wagon. It's a heavy metalflake bronze with a bright white roof with some tasty flame work going the whole length of the roof. Love those Falcon Wagons........that coming from a Chevy guy.....lol!!

I,ve got a '70 351c all done, around 400-420 hp., a'71 top loader 4spd. w/ 2:78 first gear, and a'72 Mustang 9" w/a 3:89 Detroit Locker, "N"case w/Daytona pinion support, and Moser 31 spline axels. I had this narrowed down 1 in less than the original Falcon rear end width. Fits great.
