Steve Sellers comes through with the Veda Hubcap for my Little Veda!

Steve Sellers sent me one of his re pro hubcaps and man is it a nice piece,and all it cost me was postage,,,Veda and I can't thank you enough Steve,, HRP

That's too cool. I bought a set of the Veda caps from Steve. They took a while...but were worth the wait, as they are really nice castings.

I believe they are for Kelsey wire wheels.

 

Steve is the man. All the fabrication work I have done has been heavily influenced by him. Sweet deal on the caps.

 

The story has it that they we cast by Karl Orr sometime in the distant past,,his wife was Veda Orr and she kept the scta running while all the men went to war,,even becoming the first woman to set a full fendered roadster record of 114 and change in 1937.

There is a lot of information on the web about her,,

My daughter had read some of this but was really taken with the name,,thus my grand daughter is named Veda,,I knew about the hubcaps,,to fit wire wheels and started searching in vane.

Steve Sellers knew my desire to find one for my Grand daughter and kept in touch while I searched,,he then informed me he was going to make them and after he put them in production he sent me a e-mail informing me they were in the works.

This package arrived today and I can't say enough about what a big heart Steve has to help me give such a unique gift to my own little Veda. HRP

he sent one /couple mos more got the casting ordered

Guy's,,I didn't intend for this thread to go in the direction it has taken,,I told you guy's the E-mail address I used and didn't have a problem.

The point of the thread was that I finally had that hubcap I wanted so badly for my grandaughter and a guy I don't know from Adam's house cat stepped up and made it happen,,,end of story.

Steve is ok in my book,,I don't know anything about his personal life or his business,,,so please don't send me any more PM's asking,,,it's none of my business! HRP
