I'm looking for pictures and ideas. I have a 50' Chevy and am looking at my options for caps. If you have pics. post them up.

The factory caps from that period are about as cool as they come, I'd be running those. Don't have any pics myself but GOOGLE should turn some up.

Thanks....but I've seen a few Oldsmobile caps that I think would look cool. Does anyone have an pics?

  5. I ran a nice set of old Chevy caps with the cross flags, black wheels and blackwall tires, on my '51 Chevy for a long time. I loved the look. Later I put the same caps on my '63 Impala on a set of 15" Caprice wheels with tall-ish blackwalls. Gave it a really down to business look.

I had trouble with most of the caps Ive tried to use clearing the spindle up front, including Olds caps! Im running stock dog dishes now with trim rings. I took a little 0000 steel wool to lose the blue paint on the little chevy emblem and it they look pretty good.

Now those small dogdish Olds caps would probably work, they look very similar to my Chevy caps...But im interested in those ribbed beauty rings those look NICE!! Ive got one, but ive been looking for a set for awhile.

I've got a set of those Olds caps and they wouldn't work on my 54 Chevy wheels so don't pay too much for them, just in case. The inside diameter is just slightly off, but enough they wouldn't clip in. My wheels used the spring clips not the ring nubs.
