I am still panning on going. I sent my stuff to Denise so I could park in the "cradle of love" area.

Yes, but you'd better get to it. I've got a few plus a list of some that already turned theirs in that want to be included in the "cradle of love area" AKA: HAMB Lounge [IMG] I plan on getting these to Bob next week to make the cheap entry deadline at the end of the month.

We all need to put some pressure on Denny and HotRodDrummer to bring not only the shop truck but Regret as well.

We will be ***igning the move-in times, which will start in the early afternoon Thursday. We have to make sure all the Commercial displays are in first, as several are quite large. [IMG]

And on that subject...I need some more pics of vehicles that will actually be there. Ian will be adding pictures this week, as I gave him about 30-40 more (Traditional Rods) today that have already entered! (I don't want just pics from the web, just actual entrants for this show. E-mail me any "hot-shots" that we can use on the website. Let's ****e that thing up a bit! [IMG]

so are all the hamb cars going to be behind one rope or should I reserve a 10x20?

here is a picture of Regret:
    Short history,
Built in '52 by Bill Wadell, raced by him thru '59. held national record (B/gas) in '58. Finished runner up "little eliminator" to Junior Thompson at the '58 Oklahoma City Nats.
Last painted in '69 - you can still see the lettering and stripping from when Bill raced it - throught the current paint.
My Dad bought it in '79, put a Chevy in it and drove it as a family all over the country.

There's more, but this isn't the thread for it [IMG]

"ALL" the HAMB cars, I don't know but quite a few want to be placed together. Your choice.

and you know your more then welcome to stay here at the house that weekend. I'll even find you a spot inside the house instead of the tree swing. [IMG]

Bob, this is about the only thing I have that's current. The car is in the process of some other custom work. I plan on leaving all the new modifications in grey primer (just like in-the-day) as I'll be painting the car once everything is done. I hope that's ok. I think it's good for people to see a work in progress.

What a GAY *** IDEA - "Lets put the Fast and the Furous guys with the Traditional Hot Rod guys." These people don't get it. Just because these are the only areas with any growth in the aftermarket industry. You think we want to hang out together at the same show. I dont want anything to do a bunch of Hondas with big exhaust tips, neon, tribal flames and a big wing.

Here's another thing look at Kirk's new add for Billetproof and look at the add on the link from this post. "Oboy we might miss Jimmy Shine and Gas Monkey." I didn't want to see their 30 foot trailers anyways.

Hey Chris, I think we all realized the dead line is the 30th we just didn't care. Do a show with just hot rods and people will come.

Lets see some dumb*** who doesn't post an intro slams how they are doing a car show in Michigan and he is in California, I seriously doubt that you would be going anyway. I will be there, DRIVING my roadster from Indy to Detroit. Josh Shaw told me he took care of my entry, hope ya got a water hose to clean the salt off after I get there if the roads are bad.

..........Roy, Roy, Roy.........go easy on the "brother." You didn't look klosely enough at his profile. He is involved with a kool kustom klothing kompany. He has his finger on the pulse of what's happin' now. You're going to park your kar in the same building with a bunch of cids with ferin' kars?? Watch out, they'll have you wearin' NOS shirts before the end of the weekend.......... [IMG]

Jeeeez, just can't win with some people! The only thing shared between the Ricers and the Trad Rods is the same floor. They WILL NOT be in the same area, or intermixed or next to each other or...hopefully you get the idea.

We have a Seperate Stage, Seperate check-in, seperate awards at differant times, seperate features, seperate Vendors...just about everything is seperate except that they are in the same building.

So far we have OVER 60 Traditional Rods from 6 differant states entered with five diferant clubs...and it is growing by the day.

THIS IS NOT A "COMBINED" RICER/TUNER + TRADITIONAL ROD EVENT!
    EACH SECTION IS S-E-P-E-R-A-T-E!

BTW, you are right in one sense, but it is not "These People" that don't get it! My eyes and ears are open to ANY reasonable suggestions (see "Rat Rod") and Hell, I will even consider the unreasonable ones!

BTW...the "Deadline" is not the 30th for AutoRama Extreme, but at the rate we are going, it may well be full by then.

........don't worry about the nobody *****es that get their ******* in a bunch Bob. You have shown more than a willingness to be flexible to accomadate the wishes of most. You have also done much more than most producers would do. The guys on here that put on some of the koolest, yet smaller shows can probably REALLY appreciate what you are trying to do.
Just don't "seperate" them too much. Them ricer boys have some sweet young things that hang with them........... [IMG]

Hey, don't you realize the kind of Hot Chicks that Fast and the Bi-Curious cars bring. Everyone has there on wants, tastes and desires. Do you live in a world so damn secluded that all you see is HOT RODS.. that must be so damn fun.. Just my two cents...

And the project BSM staff cars gets its first cut tonight.. Start the clock....

Roy, it's great to see your going to be attending the show. It's always a pleasure to catch up with you and to check out your ride. See you in March.
