I am considering making some flat plastic tail light lenses and have been looking for 1/16 -1/8" flat plastic to cut them out.
    Can't seem to find any.
    Any help would be appreciated.
    Thanks much,

Maybe try some semi truck tail light lenses. They might be big enough round to cut yours out of/to fit your application.

seems like on the late 70's early 80's ford trucks there was a reflector strip about 4'' wide across the bottom of the tailgate. seem to remember some guys cutting it into tailite lenses. hope this helps.

I think I bought the stuff at a lighting/sign store. I also put a clear, diamond patterned fluorescent light diffuser behind the red. Keep in mind you won't have any DOT reflector with this. My old Willys pickup had a square aluminum tubing bumper with holesaw cuts in it and I put this inside the tubing. It was pretty cool for the time.

Also look for 70's and 80's lincoln rear reflectors.
