Anyone know where I can find a fan shroud for a 56 Oldsmobile Rocket 88? Im not going to get an electric fan I want to keep the car as stock as possible and getting fan will kill the old school look of the car.

  2. Look at shrouds from early '60s Chevies. They're all steel, fairly deep but can be shortened. You may have to make up some brackets.

There was a great HAMB-tech on making your own... wish I'd bookmarked it. Do a search, it's suprisingly easy if you follow the example given.

  4. I always made my own for stock cars out of aluminum sheet, if it got mixed up in the fan, it was no big deal.

You could do something similar depending on how good your sheet metal skills are. A pizza box (for templates), aviation snips and a pop rivet tool are all you'll need.
