Parts guy looking for a specific air cleaner

Funny. I'm a parts guy and I cant find this damn thing anywhere. I have a friend who would like to get this style or something similar.

Yeah, we've seen the spun aluminum ones and thats not what he's after.

Here is the picture of the bad boy. Near as I can tell its about 12" diameter.

 

Try Summit Racing. I bought one like that a while back but it is 9 3/4 I believe.

 

Yep have got them from Speedway and they are usually for sale at the Long Beach Swap Meet (which does the OP no good what so ever)

 

No offense, but for what it's worth, I have never seen a Stelling&Hellings Co. repop air cleaner on Summits in the past ten years- amd I have checked their online offers and the newest printed cattledog every time.

Try eBay, there's some sellers who offer such air cleaners. Since the Hellings name is pretty much unknown outside of the HAMB, try "mushroom air cleaner". I've seen two that were pretty close to the original ones, actually.

Guess I may consider myself lucky one of my cars came with an old Hellings air cleaner... yay!
