Only FE. The FE means FORD-EDSEL.

    Don't forget 332,360,& I'm sure you meant 427.

  6. Tecnically it's a Y-Block, but call it an FE. The FE is the Y-Blocks younger brother brought out to replace it with modern updates and more cubic inches.

    Thanks fellows,so I guess the 292s are y-blocks then.

  9. 239, 256, 272, 292 and 312s are all Y-Blocks

  10. Also 279, 302, 317, 332, 341 and 368 are known as the Lincoln and HD truck Y-Blocks.

Any engine that has a full skirted engine block is technically a Y-Block.

Hence, looking at it from one end or the other it resembles the letter " Y "

The 352 was introduced in 1958, you could get either a 332 or a 352 that year.

Yep it's both it's in the FE family but the block is a "Y" block design. Normally just the 239 272 292 and 312 are referred to as a "Y" block the newer 332 352 390 406 410 427 and 428 are referred to as FEs

302 (from 1956, heavy truck engine) was a Y-block, as well as the 332 (enlarged 317, from 1957) truck engine, not to be confused with the FE version (1958). There was a 330 and 361 FE, truck engines, as well.
