Anyone feeling a cruise night in orlando.....

I just moved down to Orlando and really havent had a chance to take my car out. Was wondering if there were any other members that would maybe wanna set up a cruise night. When I lived in Syracuse,NY it was tradition every saturday night to go down Erie BLVD and sit and drink coffee with a bunch of fellow hot rodders. Just throwing the idea out there. I live on the eastside of orlando. Fred.

 

i'm up for a cup of coffee on the east side. Anywhere between Oviedo and Waterford works for me.

 

Im down by the intersection of E colonial and 436. Only about 20min from the Oviedo area.

 

We have one every Friday night (weather permitting) up in C***elberry at the Bob Evans on st rd. 436 near Fern Park, but our DJ died, so a lot of people have followed a different DJ up to Lake Mary. Some people still show up - I personally don't require a DJ, so anywhere works for me. I live in Winter Park, but am up for something on the East side of town. Saturday night is actually preferrable to Fridays for me. Now I just need to get my darned little 200 six sorted out so I can actually drive my car.

 

If it doesn't rain, how about Saturday? Colonial is all ****ed up east of 436 right now, but we could get together somewhere on University Blvd.

Tijuana Flats at Goldenrod and University (next to Winn Dixie) might be good. I can try to get a couple of others to join us.

 

That could work, I believe we've got a good likelyhood for rain all weekend, but we could give it a stab. My car is actually at my brother's house just down the street from there. Got a time in mind?

 

Let's do it early afternoon to try to beat the rain. Say around 2:00 or 3:00?

 

I'll see if I can make it as I'll be really busy during the day. Closer to 3:00 would be better for me if I can get free to make it at all.

I am helping my cousin move this Saturday....probably won't be able to make it...but I can make next Saturday if it becomes a weekly thing.

 

I don't expect this to be huge or anything, but it would be nice to put names to faces. Who knows, maybe we'll get a couple of cars to show up. Our formerly big cruise of 60/70 + cars has dwindled down to less than 10 due to our DJ's death so anything is worth a shot.

 

This saturday doesnt work for me... Gotta be in Gainesville. I saw you guys at Bob Evans last friday. I was going to cruise down there tonight if its not raining. Thats about 15min up 436 from me so if it does start raining I dont have a far drive. If the weather is clear hopefully I will see some of yah out tonight. I will shoot for around 8ish. Fred.
